Bridal Showers
Lately one of my very good friends, Michelle got engaged. I've always wanted to put a bridal shower but have never had the chance to. I told Michelle I would do her bridal shower... I've never done one before but I'm willing to make this the best bridal shower ever. I hope that it will turn out okay. I've been trying to get ideas from various places but if you guys have any ideas let me know! I would love more input.
What type of bridal shower are you putting on? Sometimes themed ones are good. That way the bride can get everything she needs for her kitchen, or cleaning supplies, etc. Knowing where she's registered will be helpful as well, so you can let people know where and what she wants.
ReplyDeleteAs for games, I've seen concentration games where guests have to try and remember all of the items on a cookie sheet (write them down so you know, and let your guests write what they can remember down) and the person who remembered the most wins a prize.
I've also seen one where the hostess asks the bridegroom a bunch of questions, he answers, and at the shower, you ask the bride the same questions to see how well she knows him. She gets a gift for each question she answers correctly. It's kind of like the newlywed game.
Vegetable and fruit cups are always good eats, and a little party favor of mints and chocolate at the end for everyone are always nice. Let people know if you are going to serve a meal or just snacks, that way people will know whether or not to come hungry. If I have any other ideas come to mind I'll let you know!
Hey! Sorry to take so long to respond to your comment! As far as HTML goes I mostly learned it myself in high school designing my own sites. I looked up a lot of tutorials and I had friends who were pretty web savvy who helped me out. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask!
